Botulinum toxin (botox)

Botulinum toxin (botox) has great success in reducing wrinkles in between the eyebrows. This is also called the frown lines or glabellar lines.

Botulinum toxin works in the nerve endings of muscles that cause wrinkles from repetitive use. Once those muscles are relaxed, the skin can rejuvenate without forming new wrinkles. It can be used in many areas of the face to safely achieve an aesthetically pleasing look without the need for surgery. Botox

HA Fillers (hyaluronic acid)

Fillers are used to reduce the appearance of wrinkle lines by adding volume and structure back into the spaces where our natural hyaluronic acid has been lost over aging. Here at Labotox, fillers are specialized to each area of the face. Fillers are used to fill lips so they look luscious and full. HA is used to give a natural look of smoother lips, restoration of lip size and contour, and for filling in perioral rhytids. It is used for reducing the appearance of nasolabial folds, "jowl" lines, and marionette lines by lifting the cheeks and replacing the volume loss from aging. A personalized plan of care is created for each individual to accomplish symmmetry of the face. Fillers last from 9 months to 12 years and dissolve naturally in the body.

Advanced Microneedling of entire face

Small channels are made on the skin surface with 12 small sterile rapid needles. This allows high grade medical products to penetrate into the deep tissue stimulating new collagen formation while reducing fine lines, wrinkles, and sun spots.

Chemical Peels

Long used in dermatology before the use of lasers and microneedling for aesthetic rejuvenation of the skin and at a fraction of the costs. Chemical peels can improve your skin's color, clarity, tone, and texture with relatively little down time. It is also known to help skin disorders such as acne and rosacea. Labotox Med Spa uses a medium depth medical grade chemical peel that penetrates the top layer of skin, called the epidermis, reaching into the dermis underneath. The ingredients used in the peel are made up of a blend of Trichloroacetic acid (TCA), Phenol, Salicylic acid, Vitamin C, and tretinoin. Peels are best done in the Spring and Fall seasons.

Acupuncture

Eastern medicine combines with western medicine with the use of age old points in the body where nerve bundles and electrical activity meet. Stainless steel needles are placed painlessly with expert precision. Acupuncture can relieve sciatica, help you quit smoking, and center your mind and body through your own bodies natural pain relief points.

Hyperhidrosis

Hyperhidrosis is the medical name for excessive sweating. Over 90% of people who have it do not have a known underlying cause. Focal treatment of hyperhidrosis with botulinum toxin in the armpits has been FDA approved and can last as long as 12 to 14 months. Patients notice a reduction in odor as well as sweating.

Skin Tag Removals

A common blemish, a skin tag is a small, soft piece of tissue that hangs off the skin by a connective stalk. They can be tiny, or grow very large and irritated due to rubbing on clothing or other skin surfaces.

Acne Scars

Acne scars are treated with a combination of approaches depending on the scar type, the patient's skin type and pigment, and severity of scarring. At Labotox Med Spa, you can book an appointment for acne scar evaluation. You can expect to speak with the physician and be evaluated for your best option treatments. Consultations are complimentary. Depending on the evaluation, the treatment options available include chemical peels, steroid injections, subcision and soft tissue filler, botox, and medical prescription skincare.
